Service TechnicianPay:$20.00 $22.00 per hour (DOE)Location:Yukon, OK 73099Shift:Monday Friday | 7: 30 AM 4: 00 PMJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:125093Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Service Technician to join a growing team in Yukon, OK. This role is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining semi-trailers and related equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.The ideal Service Technician has strong troubleshooting skills, enjoys hands-on mechanical work, and takes pride in delivering quality repairs in a fast-paced shop environment.Required Experience & Skills Mechanical experience preferred (automotive, diesel, trailer, equipment, or related field) Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and follow repair instructions, service manuals, and work orders Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanshipEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on semi-trailers and trailer components Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Repair brakes, lighting systems, suspension components, doors, and related trailer equipment Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs efficiently Complete work orders and accurately document repairs performed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards Assist with additional shop duties and projects as needed Communicate repair status and equipment concerns to supervisorsPreferred Qualifications Experience working on semi-trailers, heavy equipment, or diesel equipment Knowledge of trailer brake systems, electrical systems, and suspension components Welding or fabrication experience is a plus Previous preventative maintenance experiencePhysical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in varying positions throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to safely use tools and shop equipment Ability to perform physical tasks in a shop environment throughout the workdayWork Environment Industrial shop environment Exposure to mechanical equipment, tools, grease, noise, and moving machinery Physically active role requiring frequent movement and hands-on work PPE required while working in designated areasWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive pay based on experience Stable Monday Friday schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to develop mechanical and technical skills Team-oriented environment with growth potentialReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text us at 405-367-3076 for more information.You can also walk in and apply at:3625 S Council RdOklahoma City, OK 73179Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PMStand-By Personnel
