Service Technician (Remote)

Trueline is seeking a Service Technician - Automated Parking Systems to join their field service team supporting automated parking and mechanical automation systems across the Tri-State region (NY, NJ, CT). This hands-on role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced automated parking technology and offers strong training, overtime potential, and long-term career stability.

What You'll Do as the Service Technician:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on automated and semi-automated parking systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues within automated equipment
• Service Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS)
• Work with mechanical assemblies, hydraulic systems, motors, and electrical components
• Support installation, system startup, and commissioning of new automation equipment
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform corrective repairs in the field
• Document service activities and maintenance work using a CMMS system
• Follow OSHA safety procedures including proper Lockout/Tagout practices
• Communicate findings, service updates, and repair recommendations to customers on-site

Service Technician Requirements:

• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or millwright maintenance experience
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment or automated machinery
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites across the Tri-State area
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with automation systems
• Comfortable working in field service environments
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently at customer locations

Nice-to-Haves as the Service Technician (not required):

• Spanish and English bilingual skills
• Experience with automated systems such as AGVs, AS/RS, conveyors, or robotics
• Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment
• Experience operating forklifts or scissor lifts
• OSHA safety certifications, including OSHA 30 or NYC Site Safety Training
