Job Description

At Credence, we support our clients’ mission-critical needs, powered by technology. We provide cutting-edge solutions, including AI/ML, enterprise modernization, and advanced intelligence capabilities, to the largest defense and health federal organizations. Through partnership and trust, we increase mission success for war-fighters and secure our nation for a better future.

We are privately held, are repeatedly recognized as a top place to work, and have been on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies list for the last 12 years. We practice servant leadership and believe that by focusing on the success of our clients, team members, and partners, we all achieve greater success.

Credence has an immediate need for a skilled ServiceNow professional to support the development and configuration of SPM by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that align with business goals and requirements.

Requirements

  • Implement and configure SPM modules (Ideation, Demand, Project & Portfolio, Resource, APM).
  • Build and maintain prioritization models, approval chains, and intake pipelines using Flow Designer.
  • Develop scoped apps, script includes, client scripts, and UI policies to automate demand-to-project workflows and enforce business rules.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Design Performance Analytics indicators, dashboards (scorecards, resource heatmaps, demand backlogs), and custom reports.
  • Leverage Analytics Designer and data streams for real-time portfolio metrics.

  • Author and update knowledge articles, user guides, and how-to documentation on SPM best practices.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in automated flows and custom code; perform regression testing.
  • Monitor system performance and apply optimizations (indexing, caching strategies, or script improvements) to reduce load times.
  • Own multiple SPM user stories per sprint: define acceptance criteria, estimate effort, and demo completed work.
  • Collaborate with the business to define and optimize the intake process for ideas and demands into SPM.
  • Actively participate in backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis, while also developing and implementing fixes.

Qualifications

  • Must possess IT-II/Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI/Moderate Risk eligibility or have a current Tier 3 or equivalent investigation.
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow Development experience supporting a large organization with 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer using SPM.
