Sewer Sales Rep & Project Owner: Sell It. Run It. Finish It.
Most sewer sales jobs end at the signature. Yours starts there.
At Genz-Ryan, you're the homeowner's go-to from the first camera drop to the final restoration. You find the problem, show them the footage, present honest options, close the deal, and then own the project all the way to the finish line. One rep, one point of contact, zero handoff headaches.

What you'll do
- Diagnose. Run in-home consultations, camera inspections, and line locates to find roots, bellies, offsets, cracks, and collapses in clay, cast iron, and Orangeburg pipe.
- Prove it. Every recommendation is backed by video. No footage, no sale.
- Sell it. Present good/better/best options, from cleaning and root treatment to spot repair, open-trench, pipe bursting, and CIPP lining. Offer financing on $8K–$30K+ projects.
- Run it. Build airtight proposals, then manage the job from start to finish. That means permits, Gopher State One Call locates, crew scheduling, I/I and point-of-sale requirements, and keeping the homeowner in the loop at every step.
- Finish it. Make sure restoration is done right and the customer is thrilled enough to leave a review.
Requirements
- 2+ years of in-home sales experience in sewer, plumbing, HVAC, or home services required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Close high-ticket work by building trust, not pressure
- Love keeping a dozen moving pieces organized and on schedule
- Can explain underground problems in plain English
- Don't mind crawl spaces, basements, Minnesota winters, or a little sewage (PPE provided)
- Have a valid driver's license and are comfortable with tablets and field software
- Bonus: trenchless experience or a plumbing license

$70,000–$85,000+ base salary with HUGE commission and incentive opportunity getting you WAY north of $150,000+ with the right mindset. And yes, that’s real and ONLY the start!
