Job Description
GPS is hiring Sewing Machine Operators for immediate openings in Prosperity, SC.Why You Should Apply:
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (This position will transition to a full five-day workweek once additional sewers are hired).
- Pay: $15/hour
- Training provided — no sewing experience required to get started
- Benefits After Hire: 8 Paid Holidays, End of Year Bonus, Pay Increase to $17/hr, and PTO.
- Operate sewing machines to assemble beds and covers
- Follow patterns, measurements, and work instructions accurately
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet daily production goals
- Work collaboratively with team members to support production needs
- Previous sewing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and patterns
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Dependable and team-oriented attitude
