Position: SharePoint DeveloperLocation: Milwaukee, WisconsinWork Model: Onsite / HybridContract Duration: Initial 3 YearsRenewal Options: Two (2) Additional 1-Year ExtensionsMaximum Contract Term: 5 YearsClient is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions supporting enterprise collaboration, content management, workflow automation, and business process improvement initiatives across City departments.The selected consultant will be responsible for developing and administering SharePoint Online environments, creating custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), designing workflows, implementing document management systems, and integrating SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services. The SharePoint Developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and IT staff to gather requirements, develop technical solutions, optimize system performance, and ensure compliance with governance and security standards.The ideal candidate will possess strong SharePoint Online expertise, Microsoft 365 integration experience, workflow automation skills, and experience developing scalable enterprise collaboration solutions.Experience• 5+ years of SharePoint Development experience.• Experience designing and developing SharePoint Online solutions.• Experience administering and maintaining SharePoint Online environments.• Experience developing custom SharePoint components using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).• Experience creating and managing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and content types.• Experience developing document management and collaboration solutions.• Experience building and maintaining workflow automation solutions.• Experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services.• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.• Experience performing testing, debugging, performance tuning, and solution optimization.• Experience providing end-user support, training, and technical documentation.Skills• Strong SharePoint Online development expertise.• Strong SPFx development skills.• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem.• Experience with workflow automation and business process improvement.• Strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills.• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.• Ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.• Strong knowledge of SharePoint governance and security best practices.Preferred Qualifications• Government or Public Sector experience.• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.• Experience with Power Automate.• Experience with Power Apps.• Experience with Microsoft Teams integrations.• Experience with Microsoft Graph API.• Experience with SharePoint migrations and modernization initiatives.• Experience with enterprise document management systems.• Experience supporting compliance and records management requirements.• Microsoft SharePoint or Microsoft 365 certifications preferred.
