Job Details

Job Details / Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed labor and material takeoffs for HVAC and sheet metal systemsDevelop accurate cost estimates including equipment, materials, labor, and subcontractor scopeSolicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotationsParticipate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as requiredCollaborate with internal teams to support bid strategy and project turnoverMaintain knowledge of applicable mechanical codes, materials, and industry standardsReview project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand scope and requirements

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience estimating mechanical construction projects with a strong focus on HVAC and sheet metal systemsExperience supporting commercial and/or industrial construction projectsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documentsExperience performing detailed labor and material takeoffsProficiency with estimating/takeoff software (such as Trimble AutoBid or similar)Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and AdobeExperience working with vendors and subcontractors to develop pricingStrong math and analytical skills
