Job Description
VIP staffing is immediately hiring a Sheet Metal Mechanic for a leading organization in Rio Rancho
This is a Full time Temp to hire opportunity
The Schedule is: Monday - Friday 7am- 3:30 pm
Pay for this position starts at $18.00 per hour
As a Sheet Metal Mechanic you will:
- Perform work on an assembly line such as punching holes for screws or bending gutters.
- Measure, cut and weld pieces together according to specifications, blueprints or directions.
- Connect pieces or secure seams by riveting, rolling, soldering or utilizing steel screws.
Sheet Metal Mechanic candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum 2 years relatable work experience.
- Ability to read Blueprints.
- Familiarity with fitting, bending, rolling and riveting.
- Ability/experience with use of power brake on aircraft allows.
- Must have your own tools.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
