BLENDING SOON: We are looking for Shift Leaders to help open the newest Louisville Smoothie King Location in the Springhurst Towne Center. Tentative Opening Date is February 20, 2024. All Team Members will be trained prior to our Grand Opening!

Are you tired of working in fast food and smelling like grease? Smoothie King has a lead position for you! We are looking for Shift Leaders to become an ultimate ambassador of our brand. As a Shift Lead you will help Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them to help select smoothies and retail products that inspire them to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, but also provide guidance (act as a team lead) to Team Members when the Manager is not in the store. The successful Shift Leader will be passionate about the brand and demonstrate willingness to take on new challenges.

What our Shift Leader’s Do:

• Blends delicious tasting smoothies.
• Ensures Guest’s purpose is met when smoothies are ordered.
• Greets and engages the Guest to provide a friendly experience
• Properly preps all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Performs store checklist tasks.
• Shows up on time and ready to work.
• Lives and promotes the culture, values, and mission of Smoothie King
• Assists in Team Member management throughout shift.
• Fulfills cash handling, inventory, and open/closing store assignments.

What our Shift Leader’s Need to Know:

• Ability to connect and communicate with guests, team members, with a “guest comes first” attitude.
• At least sixteen (16) years of age or older.
• Experience in a fast-food environment preferred, but not necessary.

Essential Job Functions

• Ability to lead both by example and direction in a fast paced environment
• Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products and powdered substances, including, but not limited to, strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, grains, and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety
• Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
• Ability to keep the store clean and follow food safety regulations
• Ability to operate a blender and POS cashier system
• Ability to move boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs throughout the store
• Ability to position self to bend, reach and scoop through assigned shifts
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator/freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F

$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
