Join a vibrant fabrication shop specializing in manufacturing steel parts for the gaming industry in Eugene, OR, as a Shipper Packager and make an impact every day.As a Shipper Packager, you'll be essential to ensuring the quality and safe handling of fabricated parts, supporting efficient shipping operations, and maintaining high standards of accuracy. You'll work closely with the fabrication and shipping teams to keep operations running smoothly and deliver exceptional results.What Youll Do As a Shipper Packager, you will be responsible for:
- Completing all required internal and external paperwork accurately and promptly to ensure seamless shipping processes.
- Reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Department Lead or Supervisor immediately.
- Communicating effectively with engineers, expeditors, managers, and team members to coordinate shipment activities.
- Conducting quality inspections of all manufactured parts, identifying and reporting any inconsistencies.
- Packaging and shipping parts efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively to ensure timely delivery and product integrity.
- Maintaining accurate inventory counts and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Following company policies, including maintaining a dependable attendance record and working collaboratively with your team.
- Basic ability to read and interpret print specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivation and a proactive work approach.
- Basic math and computer literacy skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and vendors.
