Shipping and Receiving

We are currently seeking a Shipper & Receiver for our warehouse in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will work primarily in the warehouse, but additional responsibilities may include local delivery, so a clean driving record is a must.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pull product from storage and prepare for shipment
• Count and verify part quantities
• Stack cartons on skids, stretch wrap skids, and identify contents
• May be required to prepare shipping documents and contact carriers for pick up of shipments
• Load / unload trucks
• Deliver parts to customer sites in a company-provided vehicle
• Enter received items into the system and store in proper location
• Participate in month-end and year-end physical inventory
• Keep warehouse organized, clean and in good condition
• Follow safety rules such as proper lifting techniques, and use equipment safely
• Operate fork lift safely. We will provide training
• Work to accomplish company inventory accuracy goals
• Work with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Valid Driver's License - Clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Good communication skills with customers, clients, and employees
• Ability to follow outlined procedures and processes
• Good problem-solving skills
• Experience with using FedEx and UPS, scales
• Experience in LTL and inventory control
• Operate sit down and stand up forklifts
• Solid Computer skills
• Ability to count, verify, and key on-hand quantities into the system

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
