Job Description

2nd Shift Shipping Assistant / Trailer LoaderStart your next career in Grand Island, NE as a Trailer Loader / Shipping Assistant, helping ensure fabricated materials are safely loaded and ready for shipment. This is a hands-on role working in a manufacturing environment where attention to detail and safety are key. Job Duties
  • Assist with loading trailers and working at heights up to 14 feet using required fall protection equipment
  • Safely move trailers in and out of loading bays using a shag truck (training provided)
  • Take and upload digital photos of completed loads into customer files
  • Secure loads using hand tools such as nail guns, crowbars, and hammers
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings to calculate weights and determine proper lifting methods
  • Help ensure loads are properly secured and prepared for shipment
