Industrial Injection has been helping hardworking people keep their vehicles and equipment running since 1985. We are a family-owned company with a strong reputation in diesel performance, fuel systems, turbochargers, engines, and related services. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in South Salt Lake.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and helping keep products, materials, and shipments moving accurately and efficiently through the operation.
What you will do
In this role, you will support daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities by receiving inbound materials, preparing outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and helping ensure products are handled safely and correctly. You will work closely with internal teams to support order accuracy, material flow, and overall warehouse organization. This is based directly on the current JD's core focus on receiving, shipping, documentation, inventory handling, and safe equipment use.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
- Prepare and package outbound shipments accurately for postal, freight, or commercial carriers
- Sort, count, label, stock, and log incoming and outgoing inventory
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
- Assist with internal delivery of materials and warehouse organization
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts, and related tools as authorized
- Support a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
What we are looking for
Required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a warehouse environment
- Basic math and documentation skills
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
- Prior warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience
- Forklift experience or willingness to become forklift certified
- Experience with shipping documents, bills of lading, or inventory systems
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard Monday through Friday schedule.
