Job Description

Job Description	Torgeson Electric is seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This is an entry-level position working closely under our shipping and receiving Manager to support daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.
Pay	The salary range for this position is competitive and relevant to experience.
Hours	40 or more per week
Req. Experience	Basic computer and email skills Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely Valid driver's license required Strong attention to detail and safety Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Preferred Experience	Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience Forklift experience
Physical Requirements	Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday

Duties & Tasks	Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery Secure loads properly for transport Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed) Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area Assist with inventory tracking and basic documentation Communicate effectively with drivers and internal team members
