Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join a well-established manufacturing company in Stamford, CT.
This is a great opportunity for someone with shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience who enjoys working in an organized, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and keeping the shipping department organized and running efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming UPS deliveries.
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing UPS shipments.
- Perform scale counting to verify quantities of parts and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock organization.
- Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving department.
- Ensure shipments are properly labeled, documented, and ready for pickup.
- Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
- Experience with UPS shipping and labeling procedures a plus.
- Ability to accurately count, organize, and track inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Position Details
- Pay: $22.00/hour
- Health benefits offered
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Location: Stamford, CT
- Full-Time, Day Shift
- Stable work schedule with weekends off.
