Job Description
Personnel Resources has an immediate opening for a Shipping Associate for a local manufacturing company. This position has pay starting at $12.50/hour, a generous benefits package including health insurance and a 401k, while working Monday-Friday 7am until production is met. Occasional Saturdays may be required. This position is located in the Geneva, AL area.
Job Description:
- Wrapping ends of planks and wrapping sticks together and building stacks to be shipped out
- Load and unload materials
- Use overhead crane to lift heavier objects
Job Requirements and Skill Set:
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes, including packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Ability to lift up to 65-70 lbs
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, suppliers, and carriers.
