Pay Rate: $19.50/hr

Standby Personnel is seeking reliable and organized Shipping & Receiving Helpers. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are processed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service and safety.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments.Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed.Pull, stage, and prepare materials for production, shipping, or customer pickup.Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately.Coordinate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to ensure timely movement of materials.Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies immediately.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.QualificationsPrevious shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.Forklift experience and certification preferred.Basic computer and data entry skills.Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and packing slips.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
