Job Description

SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERKJob Summary: HQ Aero is currently recruiting for SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERKin Bridgeport, WV.Responsibilities:As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk you will be required to:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips
  • Unload trucks and ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation
  • Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight companies, etc.) for pickups and deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions
  • Enter data into inventory and shipping systems (ERP or warehouse management systems)
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies
  • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations
  • Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
  • Ability to read shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, invoices)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move materials (often up to 25–50 lbs)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
