Shipping & Receiving CoordinatorDepartment: Warehouse / LogisticsReports To: Warehouse ManagerLocation: Manufacturing PlantContact Information: International Spices 1040 Lucius Street Fremont NE 68025 (402) 727-4600 Andrea.campbell@internationalspices.comPosition SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the accurate handling, movement, and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials in a manufacturing environment. This role supports production operations by ensuring raw materials, components, and finished goods are received, stored, and shipped safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesShipping Duties

Prepare and package finished goods for shipment according to customer and company requirements.
Verify shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and labels for accuracy.
Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
Maintain shipping records
Ensure outbound shipments meet quality and safety standards.

Receiving Duties

Receive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
Match purchase orders with packing slips and receiving documentation.
Deliver materials to designated warehouse or production areas.
Communicate inventory or receiving issues to purchasing and production teams.

Inventory & Warehouse Support

Maintain organized warehouse and storage areas.
Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or overstock conditions.
Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices where applicable.
Assist with material staging for production orders.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all OSHA, plant safety, and company procedures.
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Use proper PPE and adhere to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Basic computer skills
Ability to read shipping documents, labels, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.

Preferred Skills

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
Strong communication and time-management skills.

Work Schedule

Full-time ( Schedule is four 10-hour days)
Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on production schedules.

Payrate

Starting rate is $ 20.25 per hour
