Shipping & Receiving CoordinatorDepartment: Warehouse / LogisticsReports To: Warehouse ManagerLocation: Manufacturing PlantContact Information:                                International Spices                                1040 Lucius Street                                Fremont NE  68025                                (402) 727-4600                                Andrea.campbell@internationalspices.comPosition SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the accurate handling, movement, and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials in a manufacturing environment. This role supports production operations by ensuring raw materials, components, and finished goods are received, stored, and shipped safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesShipping Duties
  • Prepare and package finished goods for shipment according to customer and company requirements.
  • Verify shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and labels for accuracy.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
  • Maintain shipping records
  • Ensure outbound shipments meet quality and safety standards.
Receiving Duties
  • Receive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Match purchase orders with packing slips and receiving documentation.
  • Deliver materials to designated warehouse or production areas.
  • Communicate inventory or receiving issues to purchasing and production teams.
Inventory & Warehouse Support
  • Maintain organized warehouse and storage areas.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or overstock conditions.
  • Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices where applicable.
  • Assist with material staging for production orders.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all OSHA, plant safety, and company procedures.
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Use proper PPE and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read shipping documents, labels, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
Work Schedule
  • Full-time ( Schedule is four 10-hour days)
  • Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on production schedules.
Payrate
  • Starting rate is $ 20.25 per hour
