FieldBridge is looking for a Service Technician in Evansville, WY to work for one of the world's largest oilfield equipment manufacturing companies. We offer weekly pay + benefits.
Pay/Schedule: $19.00 - $22.00/hour | Alternating shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM | OT up to 1-2 hours per day. At $22/hr and 50 hrs/week for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,210 gross.
Position Overview We are seeking motivated entry-level Service Technicians to prepare, service, and complete downhole drilling tools at an oilfield equipment shop in Evansville, WY. In this role, you will help maintain and repair tools in the shop, follow service quality procedures, document your work accurately, and operate cranes and forklifts after training. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with conversion after 520 hours. No experience is required. A good attitude, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn matter most. The facility is climate-controlled. In-person interviews only.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, service, and complete downhole tools in a timely manner, following service quality procedures without deviation
- Complete accurate and timely service documentation for every tool serviced
- Operate shop equipment safely, including cranes and forklifts, after training is provided
- Support production demands from supervisors and management, and work with personnel in other departments
- Keep the work area clean and organized as directed by the shop supervisor and follow all HSEQ requirements
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Entry-level position; no experience required
- Mechanical aptitude and shop or manufacturing experience are a big plus
- Ability to follow directions and take instruction, with good verbal and written communication skills
- Punctual, safety-focused, and eager to learn
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs with proper technique and equipment; cranes and forklifts are provided and training is available
- Ability to work in a shop environment with noise, vibration, dust, fumes, and odors, and in indoor and outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures
- Must be available for alternating shifts, daily overtime as needed, and on-call every other weekend
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
