Job Description
Shop HelperPay: $18-$20/hourSchedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00AM-4:00PM | Friday 6:00AM-12:00PM
HireCall is currently seeking a dependable Shop Helper for a growing manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with general shop experience who is looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate multiple machines at one time
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet company quality standards
- Read and use precision measuring devices
- Read and accurately use a tape measure
- Grinding and dressing parts
- Perform tool changes and basic machine setups
- Assist with general shop duties as needed
- Follow all safety and production procedures
Requirements:
- Previous shop or manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of numeric controls is a plus
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Must be dependable and safety conscious
- Steel toe boots required
- Must be able to work in a safety-sensitive environment
