Job Title: Tool Room & Composite Technician Assistant

Pay: $20.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday (1st Shift)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tool Room & Composite Technician Assistant to support shop operations by maintaining equipment, managing inventory, assisting with composite fabrication, and performing general facility upkeep. This position plays a key role in ensuring tools, materials, and work areas are organized, stocked, and ready for production teams.

Responsibilities

Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities.
Equip and deploy inventoried tools for Machinists, Composite Technicians, and Shop Tool Kits to improve organization, standardization, and efficiency.
Assist with warehouse inventory control, including counting, tracking, and categorizing parts and materials.
Maintain stockroom organization and inventory accuracy.
Perform general housekeeping duties, including trash removal, floor sweeping, and snow removal as needed.
Assemble, fabricate, and repair products using composite parts and materials.
Lay out composite materials for molding and production processes.
Track, record, and document work completed, materials used, and finished products.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools safely.
Ability to work in a warehouse, manufacturing, or shop environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
Experience with inventory control, stockroom operations, or composites is a plus but not required.
Dependable attendance and willingness to learn.
