Shop HelperPay: $18.00 per hourLocation: Claremore, OK 74017Shift: Friday Sunday | 6: 00 AM 6: 00 PM (Work 36 hours, paid for 40)Job Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewThe Shop Helper is responsible for supporting fabrication operations by assisting machine operators and handling materials throughout the production process. This Shop Helper role involves working closely with press brake operators to ensure efficient workflow and quality output. The ideal Shop Helper is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.Required Experience & Skills Basic knowledge of manufacturing or fabrication environments Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math Comfortable handling metal materials Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical labor Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Willingness to learn machine operation and shop processes Reliable attendance and strong work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Assist press brake operators during setup and production Load and unload metal sheets and parts Position materials correctly for bending operations Remove finished parts and stage for next processes Measure parts using tape measures, calipers, and gauges Perform basic deburring and grinding as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Support quality checks to ensure parts meet specificationsWork Environment Fabrication or metal shop setting Exposure to noise, machinery, and metal materials Physically demanding role with lifting, bending, and movement Team-oriented environment working closely with operators and leadsJobID124402
