Job Description

This is a part time position primarily operating in the summer.

Direct Report	Transportation Manager

Principle Responsibilities	Operate assigned vehicles in a safe manner within posted speed limits and regulations Provide daily staff transportation to dining hall and work locations at various drop off points Provide offsite transportation for guests and staff Conducting pre-operation mechanical and safety inspections of all vehicles daily Daily maintenance for fueling and fluid checks, properly reporting defects and damages Communicate verbally and effectively via a two-way radio with manager and other drivers Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training	21 years of age or older CDL-B with passenger endorsement preferred Must pass a DMV motor vehicle review Must obtain a Summit Driving Permitted and proper endorsements Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
Physical Requirements	Up to 8 hours a day of either sitting, walking, driving and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements HERE
