• Experience: 2+ years ICU experience, Epic EMR experience required

What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialized patient care in a surgical intensive care unit.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, CVP, and manage ventilated patients.
• Administer IV therapy, blood products, and medications.
• Care for post-cardiac surgery and transplant recovery patients.
• Respond to emergencies, including potential float to other ICUs and SDUs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Follow protocols for chest tube management, drip titration, and other advanced procedures.

What You Need:

• Required:
  • Active RN license in Louisiana or valid multi-state license
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, including Epic EMR proficiency
  • Experience with cardiac monitoring, renal replacement therapy, and advanced ICU procedures
  • Willingness to work holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) as needed
• Preferred:
  • Liver, kidney, or pancreas transplant recovery experience
  • High acuity ICU experience, including LVAD/RVAD, heart/lung transplant recovery
