️ What You'll Do
As a Sign Painter, you'll play a key role in creating professional, high-quality finished products:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections
- Apply masking to protect areas not being coated
- Mix paints and coatings to achieve precise color specifications
- Apply primer and finish coats using spray equipment or brushes
- Adjust spray equipment for proper coverage and finish quality
- Inspect completed products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment
- Follow work orders and instructions to meet production goals
- Measure and verify finished products meet specifications
What You Bring
We're looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing, painting, or related experience is a plus-but not required
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or on a team
- Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a warm or industrial environment
