Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Support the monthly SIOP process, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Assist with capacity planning activities, including labor and machine capacity analysis.
Analyze demand trends, backlog, and inventory levels to support planning decisions.
Help develop and document SIOP standard work, dashboards, and planning tools.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align demand and supply plans.
Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, planning efficiency, and inventory optimization.
Required Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to SIOP, demand planning, capacity planning, or production planning concepts through coursework or projects.
Basic understanding of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or process optimization principles.
Experience working with ERP or planning systems (academic or internship experience).
Education Requirements
Sophomore or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
