Site Safety Coordinator

RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Site Safety Coordinator in Ft. · 2-3 years' experience in a safety role involving construction/data centers or adjacent industries.

· OSHA 10 but will have OSHA 30 before starting work

· Training in confined space, first aid/CPR, and mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) experience with training.

Preferred

· Bilingual for Spanish is preferred but not required.

· OSHA 510

· Working on safety credential like CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or STS (Safety Trained Supervisor)

Responsibilities· Conduct a minimum of (2) daily safety walks per building to monitor work practices, PPE usage, and potential hazards. Inspections documented in Microsoft Forms.· Lead daily Stretch and Flex sessions and review required safety documentation (AHA/JHA/PTP/TBT).· Engage with crews to discuss safety concerns, provide coaching, and encourage open communication.· Identify and document hazards, incidents, and near-misses; submit daily notes/logs to site leadership.· Support investigation of incidents and assist in tracking corrective actions.· Help maintain site-level emergency response readiness and conduct drills as needed.· Monitor contractor/vendor safety practices and report concerns.· Conduct MEWP and Fall Protection training.· Conduct training for new or existing PPE requirements as needed.· Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and safety activities.· Implements Company safety program on assigned site(s) Communication and Escalation· Communicate any employee relations issues to Company human resources o Contact hr@Companytech.biz· Safety Related Issues o Bring to the site Foreman's attention o Inform senior safety manager· Customer Escalations o Bring to the site Foreman's attention o Inform/Escalate senior safety manager o Company employees will inform PM/Program Manager, and they will handle correspondence with customer. Work environment· Work environment is either indoor construction or active data center.· Wearing PPE constantly and standing/walking for long periods of time.· Workspace is limited and often shared amongst other site leaders.· Hours may vary and will be dependent on work hours of onsite teams and client needs.· Parking is usually limited and will sometimes require walking long distances or use of shuttles.· Day to day direction is from local site leadership while updating and communicating with Company Safety team. Workplace Needs for role· Laptop to complete daily and weekly reporting with Microsoft office installed.· Transportation to get to sites that might be in the same general area but within driving distance.· PPE requirements needed on first day (This is not provided by Company unless pre-arranged) o Minimum Type 2 Class E hard had o Composite safety footwear with puncture and slip resistance o Company Logo-ANSI Class 2 reflective safety vest o Minimum NRR 24 hearing protection (ear plugs or earmuffs). Earmuffs are recommended for long-term needs. o ANSI Z87.1+ approved safety glasses o Cut resistant gloves either A4 or A5 (with impact rating).
