Skyline - Medication Technician (Med-Tech) / On-Callto join our team!
The pay for this role is $27 per hour

Our Medication Technician/Aide:
- Prepares and passes medication for residents as ordered by a physician, reporting any medication errors, side effects or problems to supervisor or physician.
- Documents administration or refusal of medication in required format and style.
- Maintains documentation and communication log in accordance with required procedures, using electronic system when appropriate.
- Reorders meds as needed, following appropriate protocols.
- Following medication policies and procedures is responsible for the delivery, ordering, re-ordering, storage, documentation and destruction of medications.
- Insures that medication is available when needed through on time refills. Orders labs as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a WA State Certified Nursing Assistant
- Working experience with computerized Point of Care and other systems.
- 6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred.
- Successful completion of Med Tech Training program and Medication Aide/Medication Tech certification in state, as required.
- Minimum of six months experience in long term care, home care, or a related field.
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English language.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and other pre-employment testing as required by state (may include fingerprinting and/or pre-employment physical).
