Mechanic (Aerospace or Automotive) Must-Have Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience
- Aircraft mechanic experience preferred, but automotive, diesel, industrial, or heavy equipment mechanics are encouraged to apply
- Ability to use hand tools, precision measuring tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to pass an FAA-required drug screening
- Reliable attendance and a safety-focused mindset
Mechanic (Aerospace or Automotive) Position Summary
We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals to join an established aircraft component repair facility. This position is ideal for experienced aircraft mechanics as well as automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or industrial mechanics looking to transition into the aerospace industry. Training is provided for candidates with strong mechanical skills and a willingness to learn. If you enjoy diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding mechanical components, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career.
Mechanic (Aerospace or Automotive) Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Mechanical Repair & Assembly
- Repair, overhaul, and rebuild aircraft components and mechanical assemblies
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble mechanical components
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs according to specifications
- Operate hand tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment safely and effectively
Inspection & Quality
- Inspect parts and assemblies for wear, damage, and proper operation
- Follow detailed repair procedures and quality standards
- Complete required repair documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures
Team Support
- Work closely with experienced technicians and supervisors
- Participate in training to develop aerospace repair skills
- Meet production schedules while maintaining quality workmanship
- Assist with additional shop duties as assigned
