- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh.
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Handle and store ingredients and food.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
Work Schedule & Availability
- Expected Hours: 10–25 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours.
- Weekday Shifts: Morning (10:30 AM–2:00 PM) and Afternoon/Evening (2:00 PM–7:00 PM or 4:00PM-7:00PM).
- Weekend Shifts: Saturday and Sunday, with flexible scheduling based on availability.
- Flexible Scheduling: We welcome high school and college students and will work around school schedules whenever possible.
- Availability: Weekend availability is preferred. Applicants who can work multiple shifts during the week are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of other people.
- Calm demeanor to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Comprehension and organization to follow direct orders and recipes and to correctly prepare dishes to the standards of the restaurant.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knife techniques for chopping, slicing, cutting, and dicing.
- Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and accountability and develop and maintain positive working relationships with others each team member contributes to the restaurant’s success.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Experience in restaurant/retail/hospitality is an asset.
