Position Overview

Dude Perfect is seeking a senior-level Social Content Producer, Verticals to lead the charge in creating the highest-tier short-form content in the industry. This isn't just a production role, it’s a masterclass in vertical storytelling. We need an elite Producer/Editor who lives and breathes the competitive landscape of YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Reels, and has the technical VFX chops to make every frame feel legendary.

You are an expert at the science of retention. You know how to storyboard a 60-second masterpiece, craft a hook that stops a thumb mid-scroll, and design repeatable, franchise-worthy formats that our talent can run with. You’ve spent years in the trenches with top-tier creators or pro sports teams, and now you’re ready to bring that one-of-one level of editing and ideation to the Dude Perfect social empire.

Who You Are

• You don't guess what works; you know. You understand retention graphs, thumbnail psychology, and why an intro succeeds or fails in the first 1.5 seconds. 
• You are a wizard in After Effects and Premiere. You can take a standard shot and elevate it into a "how-did-they-do-that" moment with seamless VFX and motion graphics.
• You see a single video and know how to turn it into a 10-part series. You build formats that are repeatable, scalable, and iconic.
• You don't just execute other people's ideas; you bring the heat. You storyboard, ideate, and pitch concepts that push the Dudes to the next level.
• You’ve spent 5+ years in the creator or sports world. You aren't rattled by big names or fast deadlines, you lock-in, cook, and deliver elite results.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end ideation, shooting, and editing of high-impact vertical content that sets the bar for the entire industry.
• Design and storyboard compelling intros and retention-focused structures for YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok.
• Use Premiere Pro and After Effects to implement high-level VFX, motion graphics, and sound design to create world class short-from content.
• Collaborate with talent and social leadership to develop and execute new, repeatable short-form franchises and IP.
• Stay ahead of the global social landscape, identifying emerging formats and technologies before they go mainstream.
• Set the creative and technical standard for the junior production team, developing gold-standard examples for the entire department.

Requirements

• 5-6+ years of experience as a high-level editor/producer specifically in the short-form creator space, pro sports, or elite collegiate athletics.
• Expert-level skills in Premiere Pro and After Effects (VFX, tracking, masking, and motion design are a must).
• Proven ability to storyboard and script short-form content that drives massive engagement and retention.
• Deep, native knowledge of the YouTube Shorts competitive landscape and algorithm.
• A reel or portfolio featuring viral vertical content you’ve conceptualized and created from scratch.

• Experience working directly with A-list talent or professional athletes.
• Photography & Thumbnail Skills: A great eye for the "packaging" of a video.
• Familiarity with collaborative tools like Monday, Frame.io, Slack, or Google Workspace.
