SALARY: $82,400 - $97,850, bonus eligible

COMPANY:

We are home to the nation's most iconic beer and beyond beer brands, including Michelob ULTRA - America's #1 top-selling beer - as well as Busch Light, Budweiser, Bud Light, Stella Artois, Cutwater Spirits, and industry-leading craft brands. From our longstanding efforts to support American farmers, military, veterans, and first responders, to emergency drinking water donations and responsible drinking programs, we are guided by our commitment to the communities we call home and the 65,000 hardworking Americans who bring our beer to life. We are powered by a team that shares our passion to create a future with more cheers. Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Chillitas Community Manager will own the day-to-day voice of the brand across social. You'll be in the comments, DMs, reposts, and trends-hyping our people up, educating new fans, and making sure Chillitas feels authentic to the culture that inspired it. This is not just a posting role; it's about building community, protecting the vibe, and keeping us culturally sharp.

Chillitas is an 8.1% fruit-forward malt beverage inspired by Mexican fruit carts - sweet, salty, sometimes spicy, and always bringing MÁS flavor, MÁS fun. Built by the team behind BeatBox, we're looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) Community Manager who is deeply tapped into culture, especially US Latino / Mexican-American communities, and who knows how to make a brand feel like that rooted, always-down-for-anything foodie friend in the group chat.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Community Management & Engagement

  • Be the daily voice of Chillitas across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and (eventually) X/YouTube.

  • Reply to comments and DMs in Spanish, English, and Spanglish (depending on context).

  • Jump into conversations with wit and warmth-amplifying UGC, duets, stitches, and tags.

  • Develop simple response "plays" (FAQs, fun replies, spicy comebacks, rebate questions, where-to-buy, etc.).

  • Escalate any sensitive or legal/compliance questions to the brand team quickly.

  • Support community-led activations such as social giveaways, collaborative moments, and brand partnership amplification across owned channels.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to help bring brand collaborations to life on social, ensuring content feels native to the platform and aligned with the Chillitas voice.

Culture, Trends & Social Listening

  • Stay plugged into Latino / Mexican-American internet culture (memes, music, sports, novelas, regional slang, food trends).

  • Flag real-time opportunities for the brand (e.g., Bad Bunny moments, fútbol games, chaladas discourse, fruit-cart trends).

  • Monitor competitor brands and relevant categories (RTDs, cheladas, fruit-flavored drinks) and share quick takeaways.

Content Support & Light Creation

  • Collaborate with the Brand & Creative team to bring our "Spice Up the Chill" / foodie friend positioning to life.

  • Help concept low-lift content you can capture yourself (hands-only pours, rim rituals, fridge restocks, unboxings, UGC-style clips).

  • Draft bilingual or Spanglish captions that feel native to the feed, not like ads.

  • Coordinate with creators/influencers to reshare their content (with approvals) and keep track of what's performing.

  • Support the sourcing and coordination of freelance UGC creators to develop low-lift, social-native content such as memes, trend-based videos, cocktail recipes, and lifestyle content.

  • Help identify when content should be created in-house versus outsourced to creators or freelancers based on trend relevance, timing, and production needs.

  • Serve as both a hands-on content contributor and a creative coordinator, comfortable appearing on camera when needed and guiding external creators to deliver brand-right work.

Event & Activation Coverage

  • Support live coverage from key moments (e.g., tastings, SXSW, Coachella house, watch parties, in-store samplings) when needed.

  • Capture stories/reels/TikToks on-site that showcase the DRIP • DIP • SIP ritual, flavor reactions, and community moments.

Reporting & Insights

  • Track basic weekly metrics (top comments, saves, shares, DMs, UGC mentions, sentiment highlights).

  • Share a simple "Community Pulse" update: what people are loving, asking for, confused by, or joking about.

  • Use insights to recommend small, fast tweaks to content, posting cadence, and FAQs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred.

  • Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the US (alcohol category requirement).

  • 2-4 years experience in social media/community management for a consumer brand, agency, or creator.

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) with strong writing skills in both; comfortable using Spanglish authentically.

  • Deep familiarity with US Latino culture, especially Mexican/Mexican-American food, music, slang, and humor.

  • Strong grasp of Instagram & TikTok (algorithms, features, formats, and best practices).

  • Confident writing short, punchy copy that feels like real people talk-not corporate.

  • Comfortable using basic tools (Canva, CapCut, in-app editing) to create simple stories/reels/TikToks.

  • Able to work some evenings/weekends for live moments or event coverage.

  • Comfortable appearing on camera for lo-fi, social-first content as needed.

  • Experience creating content yourself and/or coordinating freelance creators or UGC contributors to produce platform-native social assets.

  • Familiarity with social engagement mechanics such as giveaways, community prompts, and collaborative brand moments.

  • Strong instincts for identifying culturally relevant collaboration opportunities and translating them into social content ideas.
