UofL Dining is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to support digital marketing efforts across multiple platforms. This role is perfect for a student who loves storytelling, content creation, and campus engagement. The intern will help enhance the UofL Dining brand by producing engaging content, supporting promotional campaigns, and capturing the student experience through dining.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop weekly content Calendar for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• Photograph and Film dining events, location, food offering, and promotional activities.
• Write engaging captions and maintain brand tone, voice, and visual identity.
• Drive engagement across social media platforms
• Decorate and support Marketing Coordinator with events throughout the semester.
• Assist the marketing team with all roles and responsibilities as necessary
• This position requires summer availability and runs through August 10.
• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Must have or acquire food safety certification
• Demonstrates guest service skills

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
