Job Description
Now Hiring: Social Media & Marketing Assistant
Are you creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about digital marketing? Bowser Automotive is looking for a Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join our team and help bring our brand to life across digital and in-person platforms.
This role works closely with the Social Media & Marketing Specialist and Marketing Director to support the dealership's marketing initiatives through graphic design, content creation, social media management, website updates, and event support.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
- Assist in creating high-quality, eye-catching graphic content for digital ads, website assets, social media, and other marketing materials
- Follow brand standards while contributing creative ideas
Social Media Management
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Business Profile, and others
- Help monitor engagement and respond as directed
- Stay current on trends and suggest fresh content ideas
Website Content
- Assist with website updates including blogs, custom photography, graphics, and other visual or written content
- Ensure website content remains current and aligned with brand messaging
Marketing Support
- Provide administrative support to the marketing department as directed by the Marketing Director
- Assist with campaign coordination and internal marketing initiatives
Event Support
- Assist with event execution, including setup and teardown
- Provide on-site support during dealership events as needed
Collaboration
Work closely with team members and various dealership departments to help achieve marketing goals
Maintain a positive, team-focused attitude
Other Duties
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Marketing Director
Qualifications
- Experience with graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools preferred)
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Photography and/or video editing experience is a plus
