About Thyme, a vibrant new Lebanese street bakery in Harvard Square, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media and Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, digital marketing, and promoting authentic culinary experiences. As the Social Media and Marketing Associate, you will play a crucial role in building our brand presence, engaging with our community, and driving customer interest through innovative campaigns that reflect our values of quality, tradition, and modern dining. You will collaborate closely with the team to craft compelling content, manage social platforms, and support marketing initiatives that highlight the unique flavors and atmosphere of About Thyme.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong online community
- Coordinate and support marketing campaigns and promotions both online and offline
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to optimize performance
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to highlight new menu items, events, and special offers
- Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the brand fresh and relevant
Requirements
- Previous experience in social media management or marketing roles preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for storytelling and visual content
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with an interest in food, culture, and hospitality
