About Our Founder
Gucci Westman has more than 20 years of professional experience as a major editorial makeup artist, contributing to publications like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Position Summary
We are looking for a social media aficionado to join our team as our Social Media & Content Intern reporting directly to the Senior Social Strategist. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in social media or marketing for a lifestyle brand, is an expert communicator, and passionate about connecting with our highly engaged, beauty-loving audience. This hire will be integral in shaping the voice of our content channels over the 12 week summer internship period.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Social Media and Content teams to assist with content creation, community management, and content brainstorms
- Assist with in-person photo shoots and content filming days
- Assist with weekly competitive industry reporting
- Assist with social media calendar organization
- Actively engage with the Westman Atelier community and customers
- Assist with content editing as needed
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Prior experience interning for content, social media, and/or marketing departments
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Goal-driven with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
- Candidates need to be based in NY, with the ability to come to our office at least 2 days/week
