Social Media Content Creator

The Opportunity:

We're looking for a highly creative, trend-obsessed Content Creator to join our growing team in Charleston, SC — someone who genuinely lives on social media and can turn that instinct into scroll-stopping content for one of the fastest-growing beverage brands in the country.

This is a hands-on, in-the-room role: concepting, scripting, filming, and editing content that shows up across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and whatever platform blows up next. You'll partner cross-functionally to fuel product launches, campaigns, partnerships, and retail moments — and you'll help shape how millions of people experience the Javvy brand.

You're equal parts creator, producer, and project manager: just as comfortable pitching an idea as you are filming it, editing it, and shipping it on deadline. The split: roughly 70% organic content, 30% performance creative — so you'll build Javvy's organic voice and turn what's working into conversion-ready ads.

What You’ll Own:

Content Creation & Production

• Film, edit, and deliver high-quality video and photo content across social and paid channels.

• Produce platform-native content built for TikTok, Reels, Stories, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Meta — not one-size-fits-all reposts.

• Run storyboarded concepts and independently spot reactive, trend-driven, and evergreen opportunities.

• Keep a “film factory” pace — consistent, high-output creative at scale.

• Capture lifestyle, product, office skits, BTS, event, and UGC-style content.

Innovation & Trendspotting

• Stay ahead of trends, sounds, memes, creators, and platform shifts — before they peak.

• Bring fresh content ideas to the team every week.

• Spot emerging formats and translate them into on-brand executions.

• Test, learn, and optimize based on real performance data.

Storyboarding & Creative Development

• Build storyboards, creative briefs, and shot lists from scratch.

• Write scripts and hooks engineered for retention and conversion.

• Partner closely with Brand, Creative, and Performance Marketing to bring campaigns to life.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management

• Field content requests from Brand, Retail, PR, Partnerships, Influencer, Paid Media, and Lifecycle Marketing.

• Prioritize against launches, campaigns, and business goals.

• Own the content calendar, production timelines, and asset delivery — organized and on time.

You’re a Fit If…

• 2–3+ years creating social content, ideally in CPG, lifestyle, beauty, food & beverage, or consumer brands.

• A track record of high-performing content on TikTok, Instagram, and Meta.

• Sharp video editing skills — CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar.

• Confidence shooting on both iPhone and DSLR/mirrorless.

• Strong storytelling, copywriting, and scripting instincts.

• Fluency in internet culture — trends, platform mechanics, what actually gets watched.

• Comfort on camera, and comfort directing others in front of it.

• Serious organizational chops — you can juggle five projects without dropping one.

• A bias for speed and adaptability in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Paid social creative experience is a big plus.

• Comfort with AI tools for content creation and editing is a plus.

• Bonus points if: You've built or grown your own social presence. You've made UGC or direct-response ad content that actually converts, worked with influencers or creator talent, you love coffee, wellness, and café culture, you can call a TikTok trend before it's a trend.
