Job Title: Social Media Coordinator (Contractor I)Location: New York, NY 10003Pay Rate: $35.00 – $40.00/hrSchedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)Contract Duration: 12 Months (Starting April 30, 2026)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Social Media Coordinator to support a portfolio of well-known lifestyle and entertainment brands across food, home, and design. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong pulse on pop culture, culinary trends, and home lifestyle content.
This role will own the full social content lifecycle—from early production support to post-launch engagement—helping bring shows to life across major social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Execution
- Own the social media lifecycle for assigned shows
- Review video cuts, write engaging copy, and create highlight clips and social-first content (including memes and short-form video)
- Support content distribution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Pinterest
Platform Operations
- Assist with day-to-day management of YouTube channels, including video uploads, optimization, and thumbnail organization
Community Engagement
- Monitor and engage with audiences across platforms, especially TikTok
- Identify opportunities to amplify fan-generated content
Scheduling & Publishing
- Schedule and publish content with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Trend Monitoring
- Stay ahead of emerging social trends, platform updates, and viral content opportunities
Production Support
- Capture live or native content as needed and provide input on content performance and optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of professional social media experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with social publishing and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Creator Studio, Tubular)
- Strong understanding of platform best practices and audience behavior across major social channels
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create engaging, on-brand content
