Job Description

Role Overview

The Social Media Intern will support the day-to-day execution of social content, community engagement, and performance tracking across brand channels.

This role offers hands-on experience in platform-native storytelling, content creation, publishing workflows, social listening, and analytics. The intern will collaborate closely with Social, Creative, Brand, Growth, and Performance teams to help bring campaigns to life and support always-on engagement that drives measurable impact.

This is an opportunity to learn how socialoperatesas both a brand-building and business-driving channel within a high-performing, cross-functional marketing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Publishing

  • Support the development of social content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).

  • Draft captions and adapt messaging for different platforms and audience segments.

  • Assistwith short-form video editing, graphic creation, and trend-based contentleveragingAI tools and templates.

  • Prepare posts for scheduling and publishing using social management tools.

  • Ensurecontent aligns with brand voice, messaging priorities, and campaignobjectives.

Community Management

  • Monitor comments, direct messages, and tagged content.

  • Draft thoughtful, brand-aligned responses for review.

  • Escalate sensitive or high-risk interactions appropriately.

  • Identifyopportunities to engage in culturally relevant moments or trending conversations.

Campaign & Launch Support

  • Assistin organizing and tracking assets for product launches and brand campaigns.

  • Supportinfluencercoordination and tracking efforts.

  • Help adapt campaign materials into social-first formats.

  • Contribute to amplification/boostingefforts during major launch moments.

Social Listening & Trend Monitoring

  • Track platform trends, cultural moments, and content formats.

  • Provide weekly summaries of emerging trends relevant to the brand.

  • Support social listening efforts toidentifyaudience sentiment and conversation themes.

Performance & Analytics Support

  • Assistin compiling weekly and monthly performance reports.

  • Track engagement, reach, follower growth, and top-performing content.

  • Helpidentifypatterns and emerging content themes.

  • Support documentation of testing learnings and creative insights.

AI & Workflow Innovation

  • Use AI tools to support content ideation, caption drafting, trend analysis, and performance summaries.

  • Experiment with AI to improve creative iteration and workflow efficiency.

  • Support the team inidentifyingnew ways to modernize social operations.

Qualifications

  • Currentlypursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends.

  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail and tone.

  • Familiarity with Canva,CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools preferred.

  • Basic understanding of analytics or interest in performance marketing.

  • Curious about AI and emerging digital trends.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
