Overview
Job Description
We believe a story can change what a person can see: not by arguing, but by showing them something true they didn’t have words for. Dream Three is a story studio built to deliver best-in-class, genre-spanning narratives across mediums, including film and series, theater and live events, publishing and music, and digital and immersive. If you’re looking for a team that takes big creative swings and doesn’t settle for less than excellent, keep reading.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re hiring a hands-on freelance Social Media Manager to craft compelling content for our projects and brands. You’ll identify standout moments in existing material, develop original concepts, and shape and edit assets with a sharp eye for quality, audience behavior, and brand voice, managing each piece through approval and publication. You’ll plan original content and handle lightweight capture within the agreed scope. Dream Three sets brand direction and approval boundaries; you own the editorial proposal and day-to-day delivery. This is an execution-focused individual contributor role for someone who combines creative judgment, strong craft, and dependable follow-through.

• Ability to create original social content as well as repurpose existing material, while managing a brand’s deadlines and concurrent deliverables.
• Practical analytical judgment: turn performance evidence into specific production or publishing adjustments.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt accurately to distinct brand voices.
• Professional discretion, organization, adaptability, and reliable follow-through.
TOOLS YOU’LL USE
• Adobe Premiere Pro; Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent tools for supporting assets.
• Frame.io, Dropbox, Asana, Slack, and the designated social publishing suite.
• Meta Business tools, TikTok Business Center, and YouTube Studio within assigned permissions.
PLUSES
• Multi-brand, entertainment, or public-facing brand experience.
• Experience editing comedy, conversation, interviews, or podcast material.
• Thumbnail design or simple motion graphics skills.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
• Engagement + Fees: Freelance contract 1099. $35–$45/hour; part-time, hourly
• Scope: Start with one brand and agreed-upon workload, deliverables, and service windows. Additional work may be agreed upon based on delivery, capacity, and mutual fit.
• Location: Remote in approved U.S. and international locations, or hybrid in NYC/LA. Collaboration and any on-site capture are agreed upon for each engagement.
• Term: The initial engagement and any renewal terms are agreed upon in writing. This is a nonexclusive freelance opportunity.
• Flexibility: Evening/weekend coverage, capture dates, travel, and related fees or expenses are agreed upon in advance.
• Start: As soon as mutually agreed.
• Eligibility: You must be legally authorized to provide the agreed-upon services from your work location.
• Apply: Submit your résumé and three relevant examples through the designated application link, including work made from existing material and an original concept. Identify your editing, copy, capture, publishing, and performance responsibilities. No cover letter is required.
