Social Media Manager — Mobile Experience
Location: Plano, TX Pay: $60 an hourJob Type: Contract (US) — 12 months- possible extensionExpected hours per week: 40 hours per week, W2, no C2CSchedule: Fully onsite (may include occasional weekends + travel for live events)
About the Role
In this role, you’ll manage our brand persona and voice across organic social channels. The work is a blend of always-on social strategy and boots-on-the-ground content creation, bringing real-world activations and culturally relevant moments to life in real time.
You’ll collaborate closely across the SEA Mobile eXperience (MX) Marketing org (Creative Services, Partnerships, Influencers, Product Marketing, IMT, etc.), Suwon partners, and SEA MX leadership to align global and local strategy. This role reports to the Head of Mobile Marketing Social & Communities.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Contribute to organic social strategy and direction based on evolving platform and culture trends
- Execute an always-on content strategy aligned to brand voice, campaign priorities, and audience needs
- Build and maintain content calendars (weekly/monthly/quarterly) with clear themes and posting cadence
- Optimize posts for reach/engagement (copy, timing, hashtags/keywords, CTAs, formats)
- Review content with internal stakeholders prior to publishing
- Monitor social trends, platform updates, and audience behavior to inform strategy
- Ensure all content/captions align with brand guidelines and maintain consistent voice/aesthetic
- Analyze performance and recommend improvements based on results
Digital Content Development (“Boots on the Ground”)
- Develop social-first programming/content series highlighting product features and human benefit
- Capture, edit, and publish content on-site at activations and events (real-time when needed)
- Move fast on cultural moments while they’re peaking—concept, produce, post
- Stay current on internet formats/behaviors and choose the right trends to pursue
Performance, Analytics & Optimization
- Track and report performance using platform analytics
- Provide insights on what’s working and make recommendations (content type, cadence, formats)
- Deliver monthly reporting including KPIs, key learnings, and optimization plan
Minimum Qualifications
- 8–10 years overall experience with 5–7 years in organic social media for a large-scale brand
- 3–5 years hands-on experience creating social content end-to-end (concept ? execution)
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, PR, Graphic Design/Visual Comms, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of major platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Deep understanding of platform-specific creative formats and best practices
- Strong understanding of social performance metrics and optimization using insights
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Self-driven, adaptable, collaborative; strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
- Willing to work occasional weekends and travel for events/live content capture
- Portfolio required (or social handles) showcasing relevant organic social content work
Preferred Tools / Experience
- Social management and creative tools such as Sprinklr and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of design principles, creative workflows, and feedback-driven iteration
