We analyze the full context of TikTok and Instagram videos — visuals, audio, and text — to surface insights that legacy social listening tools built for a text-first world simply can't see. We use that data to power workflows our clients rely on daily: discovering creators and partners, measuring campaign performance and community engagement, tracking brand sentiment, and answering strategic questions with real consumer data.

Where you’ll spend your time

We're looking for a social media marketing intern who is chronically online in the best way — someone who spots a trend before it peaks, has opinions about what makes a TikTok work, and actually wants to make stuff. You'll work closely with our Brand & Community Associate on ideation, filming, and research, and you'll get hands-on experience using Plot to do it. You will also be working closely with our Director of Growth & Product, and our marketing aficionado, a.k.a. the CEO.Responsibilities:

• Assist in capturing and editing content for company social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, X)

• Collaborate with our Brand & Community Associate to brainstorm and develop social content ideas for Plot socials, including ideating, scripting, etc.

• Create daily social media posts across all platforms

• Research trending topics, sounds, and memes + synthesize findings into research reports using Plot

• Research and suggest partner podcasts / newsletters that would amplify Plot's message

Requirements:

• Spend a genuinely embarrassing amount of time on TikTok and Instagram and deeply understand our audience of social, community and creator marketers.

• Comfortable on camera

• mad skills in CapCut (seriously, impress us)

• A creative brain that never stops spinning

• Can write copy that makes people LOL

• Hard working, growth mindset

• Hours: 20-30 hours per week (flexible)
