Job Description
Job Description: US Advisors is seeking a Social Media/OSINT Analyst to support a federal law enforcement client operating in a mission-critical targeting center environment. The analyst will conduct open-source and database research to identify location information and other investigative leads related to priority individuals who pose risks to public safety or national security.This role requires strong investigative research skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to produce clear written reports supporting law enforcement operations.Responsibilities:
- Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) research using publicly accessible social media platforms, commercial data providers, and government databases.
- Analyze data from sources such as social media platforms, public records, and commercial investigative databases to identify person-specific location and identity information.
- Identify and analyze addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, aliases, employment information, and other indicators that may assist law enforcement operations.
- Perform research focused on data connected to a target individual and associates.
- Produce clearly written analytical reports documenting research methodology, sources, and findings.
- Coordinate with analysts, supervisors, and government personnel to support operational tasking.
- Participate in case tracking and documentation processes supporting multiple operational centers.
- Minimum 3 years of experience conducting social media research or investigative analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience researching public records, social media, and investigative databases.
- Strong analytical writing and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of investigative research techniques and information verification methods.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to maintain a DHS background investigation / Public Trust clearance.
- Ability to work onsite at a government facility during standard duty hours.
- Experience supporting federal law enforcement, homeland security, or intelligence missions.
- Experience using investigative platforms e.g., CLEAR, LexisNexis Accurint, or similar.
- Knowledge of immigration, criminal justice processes, or law enforcement targeting operations.
- Experience in an operational intelligence or targeting center environment.
- Schedule typically M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, aligned with government hours.
- Analysts may occasionally support time-sensitive operational taskings.
- Personnel must comply with DHS security and privacy policies.
