Join a premier non-profit organization in Silverton, Oregon, as a Social Media Specialist and Graphic Designer and use your talents to make a direct impact!As a Social Media Specialist and Graphic Designer, you will lead the creation of digital and print marketing materials, manage online communications, and document community events. Youll work closely with program directors, staff, and volunteers to elevate the organizations mission and maintain an active digital presence.What You'll Do As a Social Media Specialist and Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for
- Planning, layout, and graphic design for forms, promotional flyers, mail campaigns, and print publication materials.*
- Managing, updating, and maintaining company websites, social media channels (Facebook), and digital media accounts.*
- Photographing local chapter events, editing photos, and managing digital photo archives.*
- Organizing digital document systems, cataloging print stock, and coordinating mailings and lobby literature.*
- Providing technical guidance on forms design and assisting staff or volunteers with printing and publishing tools.*
- Advising project leads on print specifications, formatting, and cost-effective production methods.
- Experience in graphic design, desktop publishing, or digital media.*
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office products.*
- Photography and photo editing capabilities.*
- Practical knowledge of web maintenance and social media management platforms.*
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage file archives, print stock, and multi-project deadlines.*
- Excellent communication skills and the flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime for special events.
