Summary
The Social Media Specialist serves as the central point of coordination for the firm's social media strategy, content planning, and compliance oversight. This role ensures that activity across business verticals, brand initiatives, and shared global channels is cohesive, compliant, and aligned with firm priorities. Working closely with campaign leaders, the digital strategy team, the communications team, and the Office of General Counsel (OGC), the Social Media Specialist will provide day-to-day direction for our social media channels, support the paid social media program, support social listening efforts, and ensure the firm's social channels are strategic, responsive, and high performing.
Location
This position can sit in any of our U.S. offices and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Coordination
- Manage day-to-day planning and prioritization of content across firm social media channels and employee advocacy platform
- Coordinate between campaign teams, the digital publishing group, and international colleagues to align timing, messaging, and channel use
- Provide guidance to the daily publishing team, ensuring tone, visuals, and positioning align with firm standards
- Surface content needs and opportunities to campaign leads and creative partners
- Partner with key stakeholders to amplify high-priority business content and brand initiatives (recruiting, pro bono, DEI, etc.
Compliance and Quality Control
- Maintain an efficient and consistent review process, ensuring timely approvals and adherence to compliance standards.
- Serve as liaison to OGC for review of social media content and campaigns.
- Ensure consistent application of OGC and risk management guidance.
Paid and Organic Social Media Program Management
- Collaborate with the digital campaigns team to optimize the firm's paid social media program, including audience targeting, creative alignment, budget tracking, and performance measurement.
- Work with external vendors and internal analytics resources to evaluate ROI and recommend optimizations.
- Support and evolve the firm's social listening function, identifying trends, risks, and engagement opportunities.
Performance and Optimization
- Collaborate with the Digital Analytics team to track, analyze, and report on channel and campaign performance.
- Surface insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and impact.
- Benchmark the firm's social presence against peers and identify opportunities for innovation.
Desired Skills
- Experience publishing within a social media marketing platform (Sprinklr preferred).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), analytics, and paid social media tools.
- Experience coordinating with Legal/Compliance for content review.
- Experience with image editing applications (Adobe InDesign preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across teams and geographies.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate performance results clearly.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum Experience
- 3+ years of experience managing and executing corporate or professional services social media programs.

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Environment
The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firm's discretion in the future.

The firm's expected hiring range for this position is $71,743 - $114,074 depending on the candidate's geographic market location.
The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate's experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
