Join a Powerhouse Team Today!:Ligori & Ligori is seeking an experienced attorney in Social Security Disability (SSD) to join our growing Tampa / Orlando offices and help us expand into new area of LAW.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in navigating trial-level advocacy — from filing claims and managing hearings before Administrative Law Judges. This role requires a strong courtroom presence, and the ability to manage high caseloads while keeping client service at the forefront.
We strongly prefer candidates with an existing book of business and the ability to expand their practice under our brand. What We’re Looking For:We want an attorney who is:
- Client-focused — compassionate, but tough when it counts.
- Courtroom ready — confident at hearings.
- Relentless — committed to getting results for disabled individuals who rely on our advocacy.
- Strategic & detail-oriented — able to anticipate obstacles and craft winning arguments.
Compensation & Benefits:
- There will be a monthly base pay/draw plus commissions dependent on fees to firm generated.
- The base pay/draw will consist of $8,000 -$10,000 per month plus commissions depending on experience. There is no limit to what you can make. The more you produce the more you make.
- A base salary between $8,000-$10,000 will commence for approximately 4 months then the draw pay will start with the opportunity to make at least $100,000 up to how ever much the candidate wants to make which will depend on the candidate's performance and work ethic.
- Life Insurance: $100,000 policy fully paid by the firm.
- Paid Time Off:
- 1 week after 6 months.
- 2 weeks after 1 year.
- 3 weeks after 2 years.
- 6 personal/sick days + 6 federal holidays annually.
- Health Coverage:
- 4 plan options (including HSA).
- 100% firm-paid health, dental & vision (basic plan).
- Coverage begins on the 1st of the month after 30 days.

Key Qualifications:
- Would prefer candidate with 5 years of experience handling Social Security Disability (SSD) cases.
- prefer an existing book of business.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Proven trial experience before Florida JCCs.
- Strong knowledge of SSA rules and procedures.
- Excellent oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy and efficiency.
- J.D. and active Florida Bar membership in good standing required.
