Job Description

Social Services Coordinator - Housing Wesley by the Bay | Ocean City, NJ | Full-Time

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.  $21.01 to $23.63 per hour. Help older adults at Wesley by the Bay in Ocean City, NJ.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships with residents and community members to assess needs, provide guidance, and connect individuals with appropriate support services
  • Maintain ongoing contact with residents who may benefit from additional assistance, including those returning from rehabilitation or hospitalization
  • Support residents and families through care transitions by helping identify appropriate housing and service options
  • Maintain resource directories, track program outcomes, and complete required compliance, funding, and regulatory reports
  • Develop and coordinate educational, wellness, recreational, and enrichment opportunities that promote resident engagement
  • Create resident communications, including newsletters and community updates, while serving as a liaison to resident committees and groups
  • Collaborate with community leadership to support resident eligibility, documentation, and compliance with lease and housing program requirements

What You'll Need

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience serving older adults or people with disabilities, or in social services in a healthcare setting

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • $21.01 to $23.63 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
