Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychotherapist for a 6-month contract to support Healthy Young Minds ambulatory services. This role involves providing interim behavioral health care management, care coordination, and psychotherapy interventions in a pediatric primary care clinic. The position will primarily be based in Palo Alto, CA, a vibrant and innovative community known for its proximity to leading tech companies and beautiful natural surroundings.
Contract Details
- Term: 6 months
- Dates: 6/1/26 - 12/4/26
- Locations: Primarily Palo Alto, with potential coverage in Fremont and Sunnyvale as patient needs dictate
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy interventions for various emotional and behavioral issues in children, including GAD, MDD, adjustment disorder, PTSD, ADHD, ASD (high-functioning), social anxiety, separation anxiety, phobias, OCD, trichotillomania, and other BFRBs.
- Act as an interim behavioral health care manager to cover an extended leave of absence.
- Coordinate care within a pediatric primary care setting.
Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a preference for LCSW.
- CA State License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
