Social Worker

The purpose of this position is to provide services to meet the social and/or emotional needs that affect the residents’ ability to achieve their highest level of function; participate in the development of residents’ comprehensive care plans; develop policies and procedures to provide social services to residents in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Pay: $65,000 - $72,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Develop policies and procedures to provide social services to residents in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Interview, assess and develop individualized plans to meet residents’ needs.
• Assess the facility’s social service program and make recommendations to the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Must be social worker who is licensed by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners, and who meets the requirements as such set by the State of Texas.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in social work or in a human services field.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervised experience in a healthcare setting working directly with individuals is required.
